The unique format of the annual festival attracts more than 10,000 people who want to get acquainted with the world of car culture and motorsport. What surprised the organizers this year?

Exhibition of tuned cars
A separate room at TSUNAMI PICNIC was devoted to the exhibition of tuned cars, attended by more than 250 projects. Most of the voting machines on display to the public were original works. These were not standard options to change the appearance of production cars, but a real exclusive, made in a single copy.
All visitors were not only actively acquainted with the exhibits, but also voted for the best tuning project. As a result, the winner was the Toyota GT86, the tuning of which is made in the Clean Look style (a tuning style that originated in Germany and consists in getting rid of all the details that “clog” the appearance of the car. Remark. red.). The owner of the car received a certificate for 50,000 bonuses for the purchase of fuel G-Motive.
By the way, this summer G—Motive passed the test of all kinds of races and fueled the Silk Way Rally, the Russian Circuit Racing Series and the endurance race VTB REC Igora Motive fourh. Of course I couldn’t do without drift. Fuel GDriver 100 were filled with all the drift cars of the festival. High octane gasoline proved to be excellent even at maximum load.
Let there be a show!
All visitors’ attention was naturally focused on the show of the best stunt drivers and drift pilots in the country. At the event, BY Motorsport showed up for the first time in combat vehicles, Arkady Tsaregradtsev with his loaded project, whose strength he demonstrated in demonstration races, and Nikita Shikov with the legendary Japanese Toyota Supra A90.
Another one of the most attractive features of the festival was the drift taxi. All day long, huge queues of people who wanted to not only watch extreme performances from the side, but also become passengers of the car, lined up in front of him.
Don’t forget the environmental agenda. The teams participating in the TSUNAMI PICNIC show have handed over half a ton of tires worn during the competition for recycling in support of the Green is the New Black environmental project of the Gazprom Neft gas station network and the NPO EcoTireSoyuz. They will be sent to the Premio Crumb plant in the Leningrad region for processing and the resulting granulate (rubber crumb) will be used to make safe surfaces for sports fields.
A special zone was also organized for all TSUNAMI PICNIC guests, where they could eat in a trendy orange food truck to regain their strength and continue to participate in the mega-rich program of the festival. Juicy burgers for every taste, G-Drive Cola and clear cups of coffee literally flew around.
Music set the mood. Behind the turntables, the guests stood and rocked DJ SLOW, PASHA BRONX and DJ NICK BROWN. The repertoire suited the event. It was dominated by adrenaline and drive.
Vivid memories
All this must be remembered by all means. Everyone could take pictures of themselves with the RDS stars, take pictures near the car G—Motive To racereceive an autograph from the world and European figure skating champion Elizaveta Tuktamysheva, talk to the famous pilot Roman Rusinov, whose name is recorded in the history of international endurance racing.
