The Chinese company Omoda, part of the Chery car brand, has distributed an image of the interior of the new C5 crossover, which will appear in Russia in the fall of 2022.
It is stated that the interior design of the car will be offered in black and brown color options. The front seats of the model are covered with perforated high-quality eco-leather. The driver’s seat is equipped with electric adjustments in six directions, and the front passenger seat in four directions. In the cabin, a large screen is installed on the dash, which will display on-board computer data, multimedia and images from versatile cameras.
The interior lighting, offered in 64 colors, adapts to the driving style and the rhythm of the music. The car will be equipped with a multifunctional three-spoke steering wheel. The designers provided niches for placing space for a key, a smartphone and two cup holders. In the niche under the console is a 12-volt socket and two USB sockets.
An international team of designers worked on the car’s appearance. The most striking element of the exterior design is a large radiator grille with diamond-shaped cells. In China, the Omoda C5 costs from 92.9 thousand to 128.9 thousand yuan, depending on the version (from 800 thousand to 1.1 million rubles at the current exchange rate).
