On the territory of the Moskvich plant, which was formerly owned by Renault Russia, prototypes of the third generation Renault Logan and Sandero cars were found. Reported by Autonews.
magazine reporter photographed camouflaged Renault Logan and Sandero cars, which were previously planned to be produced in Russia. The images show the “double-deck” optics, original radiator grilles and bumpers, which are not available on similar models offered in Europe under the Dacia brand. In total, on the territory of the factory there are at least ten prototypes of Logan and Sandero, and one of the hatchbacks is equipped with plastic wheel hoods, which indicates that the Stepway version is also preparing for production in our country.
Before Renault left Russia, sales of the next-generation Logan and Sandero were scheduled to begin in the spring or summer of 2022. They were to manufacture these cars at AvtoVAZ’s plants in Togliatti.
