The Russian retro exhibition of vintage cars returns to the capital after a two-year “Petersburg tour”.
The central theme this time is the 115th anniversary of His Imperial Majesty’s Own Garage. The exhibits of a separate exposition – “Royal Departure”, were collected from many car and historical collections, both Russian and foreign. For the first time, several authentic copies of cars belonging to Nicholas II and members of the Imperial family will be presented here.
The start of the race for the Imperial Prize, the first Russian car showrooms, Nicholas II’s travels across the country, the assembly workshop of the Russian-Baltic factory – this and much more can be seen at the exhibition.
The Secret Garage exhibit will introduce visitors to the graphic work of renowned industrial designer and illustrator Andrey Tkachenko, as well as futuristic concept cars, hot rods and avant-garde motorcycles from renowned custom workshops and private collections. The author Andrei Tkachenko deliberately refers to the era of the USSR: what could be the machines of a parallel Soviet reality?
The Oldtimer Gallery has been around for more than twenty years and every time surprises with an unexpected theme. These amazing cars and motorcycles once won elegance competitions and races, were the heart conquerors and an unattainable dream for whole generations, lived years of oblivion and changed hands.
It is impossible to imagine the Oldtimer Gallery without a “flea market”.
Here connoisseurs and connoisseurs sometimes find real antique pearls.
Tickets for the exhibition are on sale via the link.
This year the fair will take place from 24 to 28 August at the IEC “Crocus-Expo”.
