Belarus and Russia have launched three joint projects related to the production of components for the automotive industry. This is reported by TASS with reference to the interview of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus Roman Golovchenko with the TV channel Belarus-1. The main feature of the projects is that the products of both Belarusian and Russian manufacturers will be in high demand, Golovchenko said.
It is mentioned that the first project concerns the production of lighting equipment for cars. On the basis of one of the enterprises in Rudensk (Minsk region), the production of modern LED optics for all types of vehicles will be created, the Belarusian Prime Minister said.
The second project is the production of braking systems. And the third is ring mill production based on one of the BELAZ enterprises in the Orsha region. It is also reported that the program of joint actions of the two states includes a total of 14 import substitution projects.
