Physicist Stephen Hawking’s personal car, a Volkswagen Caravelle van exposed On the British auction site Silverstone.

Hawking drove a 1988 Volkswagen Caravelle GL 112 van at his 1995 wedding. The scientist still bought the car new and drove it until 1999, when Hawking’s health began to deteriorate. The van was put up for auction by the scientist’s nephew, who has owned the car since 2003.
