Chinese automaker GAC has unveiled a new Shadow Cool crossover. Prices for this have not yet been announced, but that will be on August 18.
The car looks unusual. With a streamlined shape, it consists of angular lines. As a result, the machine appears to be a preliminary sketch of itself.
Interior design is also difficult to call traditional. Everything is in the usual places, but very boldly decorated. In any case, take the central air ducts – they do not fit into the overall design, but determine the motif and become the main element of the center console.
The shift lever panel appears to lean back to allow access to the bottom shelf with USB– connectors (otherwise they are inconvenient to use).
Despite its futuristic and unusual design, this is not an electric car. The crossover is equipped with a choice of turbo petrol engines with an output of 177 or 252 hp. A hybrid version will also be offered. The choice of boxes also consists of three units: a variator, an eight-speed automatic and a seven-speed robot.
Chinese motorists will be the first to receive the crossover. Later, given the close cooperation GAC with Russia, Shadow Cool will appear with us.
