Europrotocol Online has appeared in the State Services Auto application – a service for registering an accident without calling a police officer and filling out paper forms, the Ministry of Digital Development of the Russian Federation reports in its Telegram channel.
Among the advantages of online registration, the department mentions the following:
- makes it possible to reduce the average time for registering an accident by almost two times;
- you don’t have to go to the insurance company’s office – the notification is sent to the insurance online;
- no risk of data errors: the form is automatically filled in with information from the National Office, which increases the chance of compensation for damage caused by an accident.
To prepare an electronic protocol, you must specify information about vehicles and OSAGO policies; describe the circumstances of the incident and photograph the drawn diagram of the accident, take a picture of the scene; provide information about disagreements and damage to the vehicle.
Mandatory condition: No people were injured in the accident and no damage was caused to property other than vehicles.
At the same time, it is enough that the application “Gosuslugi Avto” is installed on one of the drivers. But both drivers must have verified accounts with the State Service.
The second participant in the accident must only confirm the correctness of the data through the link generated in the application. But it is faster and more convenient to set up a Europrotocol from two devices. Registration takes a maximum of 30 minutes.
How much is reimbursed?
If the participants in the accident photographed the damage and they have no disagreements, then the amount of compensation can reach 400 thousand rubles. If the drivers disagree, but at the same time photo fixation is issued, and also if the drivers refuse to take photo fixation without disagreement, you can count on compensation for damages up to 100 thousand rubles.
If there is disagreement and there is no photo of the scene of the accident, according to the European protocol it will not work to issue an accident, then you should call a police officer.
