Such an initiative has been taken by representatives of the Civil Chamber of the Russian Federation, the “Parliamentary newspaper” reports.
They say that cases in which a fine is wrongly imposed are common. But it’s hard to resist.
The most difficult moment occurs when the driver would break the rules in another region. Even if it is determined that the photofixation complex has not worked properly, it is not possible to automatically cancel the fine. The driver must go to the region where the offense was registered and personally participate in the procedure.
Public activists consider it necessary to simplify this procedure by introducing a “single window”.
This gives drivers the opportunity to solve the problem in the place of residence.
Employees of the Ministry of the Interior are being offered to take responsibility for the abolition of fines.
