On the site of the forum, which was held from August 5 to 8, the regions of Russia presented their tourism resources. The guests were informed about sights, culture, crafts and the national cuisine.
“Rostourism is working on a program of national tourist routes – there are already 29 of them, which will make it interesting, comfortable and safe for individual and group tourists to travel around the country. Rostourism is ready to support regions, hotels, tour operators and guides in creating new, interesting routes“, – said Elena Lysenkova, deputy head of the Federal Tourism Agency.
Uzbekistan became the forum’s partner country this year. Russian tourists were told about all the options for traveling to a neighboring state. The Ambassador of the Republic noted that: sports, ethnic, ecological, gastronomic, cultural and other forms of recreation are being developed in Uzbekistan, so every tourist coming from Russia will be able to find something interesting for himself.
However, car tourism became the main topic of the forum. It is in this direction that the industry will develop in the near future. The country plans to build infrastructure along the way: gas stations, hotels, eateries and campsites. The concept of “car tourism” was proposed to be included in the new tourism law. This will create a legal basis for the development of the industry.
Yulia Rybakova, advisor to the head of the Federal Agency for Tourism, presented the concept of travel to the objects of the national pride of Russia. As part of the workshop on national routes, representatives of the regions presented routes for the regions of Samara, Orenburg, Rostov, Tver, Kemerovo, Arkhangelsk, Mordovia and the Perm Territory. In addition, during the presentation “Try the taste of the National Tourist Route”, Rostourism and the national project “Tourism and Hospitality Industry” presented a menu of dishes that you can try while traveling along national tourist routes.
As part of the forum’s business program, they discussed increasing the investment attractiveness of the areas, the interaction of private capital and regional authorities in tourism, the development of the camping industry, innovative technologies in tourism and rural tourism development. .
One of the main topics was the development of tourism in the Caucasus.
