In China, the novelty is called Geely Boyue L (FX11; we have Atlas) – the car turned out to be original and technologically advanced.
A crossover has been built on Volvo’s new CMA platform, according to the Chinese Automobiles publication.
The dimensions of the body have been increased, now they are (length / width / height) – 4670 x 1900 x 1705 mm with a wheelbase of 2777 mm. For comparison: current: 4519 x 1831 x 1694 mm, wheelbase: 2670 mm.)
There are two engines, both with turbo: 2 liters, with a capacity of 218 liters. Of. and a 1.5 liter with 181 horsepower. Of. Gearbox – robotic 7-speed dual clutch. In time, hybrid versions of the car will also be offered.
The design of the Geely Boyue L is rather unusual: a massive “toothy” radiator grille and the Geely logo on the hood are illuminated and, together with the headlights and running lights, become an element of a solid light line with two “fangs” ” crashing down.
The interior has also been redesigned, with a 13.2-inch vertical multimedia touchscreen in the center that flows smoothly into the central tunnel.
The 10.25-inch digital instrument panel also has a special design: mood lighting in the form of vertical lines that run through the entire front panel and go to the door cards, as if they increase the space of the car.
Pre-orders for Geely Boyue L in China will be accepted using the Geely app – the service will be available from August 10. Prices are expected will range from 140 to 180 thousand yuan (1.26-1.62 million rubles).
The first cars will go on sale in October this year.
