Industry experts gave their views on exactly how the service should develop. In their opinion, no gap should be left when organizing a comfortable stay in the country. Modernization should touch everything that tourists need on the road. These are gas stations, parking lots, hotels, eateries and much more.
At the same time, experts note that there is very little time left for decision-making. The potential of tourism services must be developed in accordance with the ever-growing demands of travellers.
“I am sure that the development of motor tourism and roadside infrastructure will become an engine for the development of regions,” said Alexander Stuglev, chairman of the board, director of the Roscongress Foundation.
The experts also noted that the work approach should be comprehensive.
In addition to roadside infrastructure, access to information is needed. It is important for tourists to know where to go and what to see.
