The head of Udmurtia, Alexander Brechalov, plans to purchase the first Lada e-Largus electric car, which will be produced in Izhevsk. About informs TASS.

It’s not so important to the model itself, but it was important to us that it was produced here. Electric car Largus, I’m sure this is the future. I look forward to it,” said Alexander Brechalov.

Production of the Lada e-Largus electric car will be launched at the Lada Izhevsk site, where Lada Vesta cars have been produced since 2015. The launch of the Vesta will be transferred to the AvtoVAZ plant in Tolyatti, and the production of spare parts for the model will continue in Izhevsk. Tentatively, production of the Lada e-Largus will begin in 2023. The cost of the model is not reported.

Previously reportedAvtoVAZ has increased the prices of Lada Largus cars from August 1, 2022. The increase in recommended retail prices for all modifications of the family amounted to 65 thousand rubles.
