The Chinese company Chery plans to introduce a new flagship sedan Arrizo 8 in Russia, informs portal “Chinese cars”.
It is stated that Chery is currently conducting a survey among potential buyers of new products in Russia. Arrizo 8 will compete in the Russian market with models such as Kia Cerato, Hyundai Elantra and even Toyota Camry. In China, the model has not yet been sold, but will be available to order from August 26. Prices for Arrizo 8 range from 105.9 to 128.9 thousand yuan (from 950,000 to 1,150,000 rubles at the current exchange rate).
The basic equipment of the model includes ten airbags, a USB connector for rear passengers and much more. The high-end configuration includes a panoramic roof, a head-up display, a face recognition system, a driver fatigue control sensor and power front seats.
The car will be offered with a 1.5-liter 156-horsepower turbo engine as well as a 197-horsepower 1.6-liter engine. Transmissions – a seven-speed robotic gearbox and a CVT.
