The Dacia Duster is a reasonably spacious and affordable family SUV, but the Romanian model is now also sold as a commercial vehicle in the UK.
From the outside, the Duster Commercial looks like a standard Duster, with a new Dacia Link decal on the front and an updated grille, now with white accents. The new Dacia logo can be seen on the rear and handlebars, as well as in the center of each wheel.
But once you look inside, the Duster Commercial reveals its secret – it’s actually a company car, it’s even homologated as a company car in the UK. The Romanian car manufacturer has completely redesigned the interior and replaced the rear seats with a hard-wearing, flat deck with a cargo area of 1,623 liters and a payload of up to 503 kg. This is 1178 liters more than the standard model.
The Duster Commercial is available with a range of turbocharged petrol and diesel engines from 90 hp. up to 150 hp A six-speed manual transmission is standard, while a Dacia six-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission is available as an option. There is also a choice between front and all-wheel drive configurations, depending on customer needs.
The basic equipment is: Essential with standard LED daytime running lights, body-coloured bumpers, black roof rails, 16-inch steel wheels, air conditioning and power windows at the front.
Version expression complemented by 16-inch alloy wheels, front fog lamps, a parking camera with parking sensors, Hill Descent Control and a center differential lock on four-wheel drive models.
Prices for such a model in the UK start at £13,995 (1,030,032 rubles at the current exchange rate), and the first cars will arrive at local dealers in December 2022.
The car got a version of a commercial vehicle, while outwardly it looks the same.
