This warning has been made by the traffic police in connection with the weather forecast. In the coming days, most of Russia’s territory is expected to be hot. This can have a negative effect on the well-being of drivers and thus on the accident rate.
Employees of the National Traffic Inspectorate note that the driver gets tired faster in the heat, which means that he reacts less well to the situation on the road. All road users, even if they are confident in their good health, are advised to be more careful, keep their distance and observe speed limits.
The message also mentions situations where children remain in the car. Drivers are warned that it is particularly dangerous in the heat. Children may be even more prone to overheating than adults.
In addition, the traffic police warns that car breakdowns can suddenly occur in the heat. It is therefore advisable not only to keep a close eye on your health, but also the technical condition of vehicles.
