Within the framework of the X International Eurasian Taxi Forum (IEFT), the SME (Small and Medium Enterprises) will present a project together with all interested parties to create an industry-wide base of legal solutions in the taxi industry.
Especially taxi companies and drivers need such support; executive agencies; aggregators of taxi calls and of course taxi passengers.
With the existing regulatory framework and regional nature of regulation, controversial issues often arise regarding the division of responsibility for damage to the life and health of taxi passengers between aggregators, taxi fleets and drivers; legal relationships with leasing companies; OSAGO insurance for passenger taxis; applying administrative responsibility and receiving state aid measures.
X MEFT passes 4-5 August 2022 in Moscow with the support of the city administration, the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.
This year, more than 1,000 representatives of federal and regional authorities, experts, participants in the taxi and related industries from the regions of Russia and the EAEU member states will participate in its work.
The outcome of the forum will be a public resolution that will collect proposals from all public relations participants in the taxi industry so that the State Duma can take them into account when drafting new federal legislation on taxis.
