However, Kodiak considers the DFGA 2.0 TDI diesel (150 hp) to be the best and most resourceful. Very complex, but (strangely!) does not break and lasts more than 300,000 km. The main thing is not to break the timing belt. But the belt is easier and cheaper to replace than the chain. You will also have to fix leaks at the junction with the transmission, clean the fuel supply, the EGR valve and the particulate filter.

The manual gearbox appeared only in 2018 for 1.4 engines. The most massive boxes are DSG robots of two types. DQ250 for 1.4 and DQ500 for all others. They were also endlessly modernized and achieved good results.

DQ500 can withstand 180-200 thousand km without intervention. And the DQ250 too, but it will probably have to replace the clutch kit at some point. Admittedly, it all depends on where and how you drive. Being in a traffic jam shortens the life of everything.

Yes, it’s designed for a big moment, but it still won’t tolerate sharp accelerations and hard work in general. Solenoids and splined connections wear out quickly, the oil pump pressure reducing valve gets clogged. Under load, the device quickly overheats.

Under calm conditions, it lives up to 200 thousand km, a shot with the replacement of worn components can cost 200-300 thousand rubles. Murano with a range of 100,000 kilometers is therefore not easy to sell at a high price on the secondary market.
