About where motorists can legally reach a speed of 150 km / h, told Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Marat Khusnullin. Such a limit can be set on some parts of the M-12 highway, which will connect Moscow and Kazan. The words of the deputy prime minister are quoted by the agency RIA Novosti.
But such a high speed will not be allowed on the entire track. On average, the limit is set at 120 to 140 kilometers per hour along the road. According to calculations, at this speed it is possible to get from Moscow to Kazan in six and a half hours.
It was previously reported that the M-12 highway will be paid for. The rate for passenger cars was previously set at 2.5 rubles. per kilometre. So, traveling from Moscow to Kazan will cost motorists 1,600 rubles.
The total length of the M-12 highway will be approximately 800 kilometers. Construction is carried out simultaneously over the entire length. Simultaneously with the road, the contractor is working on the construction of road infrastructure. The highway is expected to open to traffic in 2024.
