Russian automaker AvtoVAZ will start installing a new engine in the Lada Niva next year. reports RBC, citing the head of the company Maxim Sokolov.
“We plan to launch the first Niva sports cars by the end of the year. Starting next year, we will install a more torquey 1.8-liter engine (instead of 1.7-liter) on the Niva,” Sokolov said.
