The newspaper notes that Stübgen reacted to the attack with a “belligerent attitude.”
“For many years I have faced leftist propaganda against my immigration and security policies. The attack on my family’s private property by a few stone-age communists is a clear violation and has no place in democracy,” he said.
Spiegel added that the politician made headlines a few days ago by banning the Islamic centre in Finsterwald.
