The AvtoVAZ press service announced the resumption of sales of the Niva Legend SUV. From July 25, official dealers will offer a three-door version of the model in the new Classic’22 package. Such equipment, according to the press release, will henceforth form the basis for an SUV (we add that it is the only one so far). The equipment has not yet been displayed on the official website, but according to the press release, the equipment can be assessed quite unambiguously.
AvtoVAZ says the new version of the Niva is equipped with “everything needed for everyday driving in populated areas as well as for confidently conquering unpaved, sandy and snowy areas.” The kit contains:
- Power steering
- engine protection
- stamped rims 16″
- all season tires.
Among the comfort options, the “neoclassical” Niva will have electric windows, daytime running lights and an on-board computer. An antenna is provided, as well as the installation of an audio system and speakers.
So far, AVTOVAZ has only revived a three-door. When the five-door versions will return, the profitability of which was already questionable before the crisis, is not reported. But they are sought after as special vehicles.

According to the press service the cost of Niva Legend Classic’22 is from 647,600 rubles under the state program of preferential loans or from 796,500 rubles without using it.
- A grant in a similar configuration when using the state program will cost 543,000 rubles. Or from 678,300 rubles with a normal purchase.
