Some of the functionality of the Lada Connect telematics system, which was installed on cars of the Granta family, as well as the registration of new users in the system, is no longer available, writes Lada.Online citing a message sent by AvtoVAZ to its own dealers. An “external technical malfunction” was cited as the reason, the source said.
Which functions turned out to be “frozen” and what exactly is meant by an external failure is not specified in the message. But it is stated that the problems are temporary, the company is working on a fix for the problem and once functionality is restored, dealers will contact customers. There is currently no official confirmation of this information.

Recall that Lada Connect began to be installed on cars of the Granta family in May 2021. The system was available in some trim levels, “Behind the Wheel” tested the car in the Lux version. In particular, it was noted that Lada Connect is not compatible with the EnjoY Pro multimedia center, the buyer can only choose one of the two. AvtoVAZ first announced Lada Connect in 2016.
