Nizhny Novgorod GAZ Group will put the Sobol NN model into mass production in the fourth quarter of 2022, informs Portal “Car news of the day” with a link to the press service of the company.
The first ones to come off the assembly line are cargo and cargo-passenger minibuses. Later, GAZ Group plans to start production of other versions of the car. The company’s investments in the launch of the production of Sobol NN amounted to 3.25 billion rubles, of which 828 million rubles. — Concessional loan from the Industrial Development Fund (IDF).
The pre-production version of the new Sobol NN car was presented this year. The model has a completely new interior with LED headlights, as well as a 9-inch touchscreen and engine start button. In addition, the car can be equipped with an air conditioning system and adaptive cruise control.
The technical specifications of the Sobol NN series car are unknown. The prototype was equipped with a 2.8-liter Cummins turbodiesel engine and a six-speed manual transmission. It was assumed that it would be possible to order an all-wheel drive transmission with rear-wheel drive, but for an additional amount.
