Experts from the agency “AUTOSTAT” compared the prices of used cars in the current month with the beginning of the year. For clarity, we have calculated the average costs. And it is 17% higher than in January.
So, at the beginning of 2022, a used car could be bought for an average of 1 million 049 thousand rubles. And by the middle of summer, for a similar purchase you will have to pay 175 thousand rubles more.
But if we compare it to the same period last year, prices have more than doubled – cars have increased in price by 61%. In monetary terms, this is about 463 thousand rubles.
The experts also reminded that the growth of pennies for used cars has been observed for 20 months, that is, since September 2021. The exceptions are May and June. In May, however, they fell by just 3% for the first time. In June, the bar remained almost motionless, rising only 0.1%. And as early as July, prices rose again.
