In the late spring and early summer, fuel purchase prices in the market began to fall due to various macroeconomic and political reasons. Experts’ forecasts are divided: some suggest that if the trend is stable, it will have a positive effect on us ordinary motorists – prices at gas stations will also fall. Others believe that such a scenario has no chance. What do you think?
With this question we turned to the subscribers of “Behind the wheel” in Viber. More than 2,000 people took part in the study. About 4% of them have already noticed a price drop at gas stations, which is good news. Another 7% are cautiously optimistic and believe prices will fall if companies continue to buy fuel at discounted wholesale prices at least until the end of the year.
But the same number (about 7% or 168 people) are sure that the situation with the fall in market prices is only temporary and therefore “will not reach ordinary motorists”. And the majority of respondents – 1,847 people or 80% – believe that the price will not fall, even with a prolonged drop in wholesale prices, because it is unprofitable for business.
- Recently, the countries with the most affordable gasoline were mentioned – guess where is Russia.
