Deliveries of AI-92 from Russia to Mongolia will be 35% lower than the world price. Mongolia’s Minister of Mines and Heavy Industry, Galengiin Yondon, spoke about this at a government briefing. His words are quoted by the TASS agency.
There was previously an agreement on lower delivery costs between the countries. Last month the discount was 25%. Fuel was delivered at a price $840 a ton. Now Mongolia gets gasoline from Russia at 830 per ton of gasoline.
The discount will help make fuel more affordable for residents of the country, according to the department head. Until the end of the year, the republic will not raise prices for this type of gasoline.
At the same time, the cost of supplying other types of fuel to the republic has not been reduced. Gasoline AI-80, on the other hand, has risen in price by $81 this month and has become $1255 per ton.
