Kia unveils updated XCeed for the European market

Korean company Kia introduced an updated crossover XCeed for the European market. This was reported by the press service of the brand.

The restyled model can be distinguished by new LED headlights and a bumper, as well as a narrow grille. Also, the car on the hood replaced the old logo with a new badge with the lettering of the brand. The GT-Line version received an even slimmer grille, a large air intake and original 18-inch wheels. The interior has a new steering wheel, black roof and sports front seats.

The model’s engine range included a 1.0-liter 118-horsepower diesel power unit as well as a 1.5-liter gasoline engine. With a return of 158 hp, Europeans will also be offered a 1.6-liter hybrid unit with a total capacity of 139 hp. Only on electricity such a car can travel up to 48 km.

The model has the latest version of the Kia Connect service, as well as an advanced multimedia system with USB Type-C ports for charging mobile devices. Production of the updated Kia XCeed will begin this summer at the company’s factory in Slovakia. Sales in the European market will begin in September.

Previously reportedKia has released a price list for the next-generation Sportage crossover, whose production began at the Avtotor plant in Kaliningrad but was later suspended. According to the updated price list, the pass is estimated at 2.85 million rubles.
