The most reliable crossovers costing up to 1 million rubles in the Russian secondary market are models from Toyota, Hyundai, Suzuki and Renault. This was told by Maxim Solodovnik, manager of used cars in the Fresh car market, socialbites.ca.
“One of the most reliable used crossovers in the budget of up to 1 million rubles is the third-generation Toyota RAV4 of 2011-2012. The car body is quite resistant to corrosion, and the electronics are reliable. Only occasionally generator failures occur at a mileage of 130-150 thousand km. The engine life exceeds 300 thousand km,” the expert said.
The second reliable crossover with mileage, in his opinion, is the Suzuki Grand Vitara. This model has only two weak points: automatic transmissions require frequent oil changes, and the converter fails after 40 thousand km. Prices for such cars start from 600 thousand rubles.
In the secondary market, there is another trouble-free crossover, which was once a bestseller on the Russian market – the first-generation Renault Duster. Its restyled version can be found for 900 thousand rubles. Significant advantages include a welded body made of galvanized metal, which does not rot for a long time, as well as engines that can last about 300 thousand km without major overhaul.
Hyundai ix35 is another reliable crossover that can be purchased for 1 million rubles. Solodovnik explained that its diesel and gasoline engines do not require intervention after 150-200 thousand kilometers and are quite economical.
