Russian companies that produce automobile spare parts plan to start manufacturing parts in Nigeria in 2025. In an interview with the newspaper, “News” This was stated by the trade representative of the Russian Federation in the African country, Maxim Petrov.
According to him, in September the first group of Russian entrepreneurs will go to the Nigerian capital for negotiations.
Petrov, referring to Nigerian Minister of Industry Otunba Adeniyi Adebayo, said the republic is ready to guarantee favorable tax conditions to Russian companies when producing on its territory.
The Russian trade representative noted that in recent years, Russian enterprises have invested considerable money in modernization of production, but now the main task is to accelerate and expand the pace of production. Therefore, after the loss of a number of markets, Russian business plans to develop the markets of friendly countries, including African countries.
Petrov stressed that the auto parts that will be produced in Nigeria next year will be sent not only to the domestic market but also to other African countries.
