The photo that raised a lot of questions appeared on social networks. It shows an employee of the press production of AVTOVAZ – the company regularly assigns prominent employees, and this is the same case: the photo was originally published by the Viber channel “At the Factory”, affiliated with AVTOVAZ. But the special interest of users was caused not by the main subject of shooting, but by the second plan.
It unmistakably guesses the body of the third-generation Dacia Logan sedan, built on the new Renault CMF-B platform. As you know, this sedan under the name Renault Logan would go into production at AVTOVAZ before the February events as early as 2022.

And then the same platform was to serve as the basis for the whole new Lada model range: a new Lada B-class was planned for 2023, a new Niva for 2024; also until 2025, the generation and the platform should have been replaced by Vesta. Obviously, many of these plans have now been frozen or canceled entirely.
However, after the departure of Renault, AVTOVAZ retained the rights to produce models on French platforms. What these platforms are has not been officially specified, but first of all we are talking about the B0 architecture, that is, the current Logan, Sandero (there are very few prospects here yet) and Duster, whose production can be transferred from the former factory of Renault Russia. But some facts indicate that on the new CMF-B platform, not all work at AVTOVAZ is unconditionally curtailed.
So, in April, unofficial data was published that the preparation for production of the new Logan is continuing at AvtoVAZ, and in May there was information that the same Logan would be assembled in Togliatti under the Lada brand. So a new photo with a Logan body in the background may turn out to be not only a minor accident or a careless “drain”, but also a transparent hint of what the Lada models of the near future will turn out to be.
