Vladimir Putin signed a law to increase the state obligation for registration of tuning (improvement of the factory version) of a car from 800 to 1.5 thousand rubles. We are talking about the Federal Law “About amendments to Article ZZZ33 of Part Two of the Tax Code of the Russian Federation.”
The Government of the Russian Federation has started developing a law on increasing the fee for issuing a certificate of conformity of a vehicle with changes in its design with safety requirements, the innovation will come into effect on January 1, 2023.
In addition, a state obligation is established for issuing a permit to make changes in the design of a wheeled vehicle in use in the amount of 1000 rubles and for issuing (1.5 thousand rubles) and extending the period of validity (1 thousand ruble) of a certificate of admission of vehicles for the transport of dangerous goods.
According to statistics, every year the traffic police departments issue about 240,000 permits to make changes to the design of cars, as well as more than 220 thousand certificates of compliance of the vehicle with the changes in safety requirements.
The provision of services entails budget expenditure, which is partly offset by the introduction of the government tax.
The State Duma passed the federal law on increasing the duty to finish a car on June 15, 2022, the Federation Council approved on June 22, 2022.
