The anti-rating of the most problematic used family cars was headed by the Audi A3 and Volkswagen Golf hatchbacks, as well as the Skoda Octavia liftback. The list was published in the British edition whatcar.com.
The study showed that 59% of second-hand Audi A3 owners encountered malfunctions: they mostly complained about problems with the navigation and multimedia system, and were also dissatisfied with the operation of the gearbox. According to 70% of drivers, car repairs take a long time (about a week). At the same time, one of the advantages of the Audi A3 was that all problems were resolved free of charge under warranty.
48% of those surveyed complained about Volkswagen Golf. In more than a third of the cases, a tow truck had to be called and repairs took more than a week. The service was free for only 89% of car owners. The rest had to pay about 175 thousand rubles.
Skoda Octavia took third place – 49% of owners had problems. Participants complained about problems with the body, air conditioning, electronics and infotainment system. Moreover, they all received free repairs.
Also included in the anti-rating were models such as the Mercedes A-Class (petrol model and hybrid), Seat Leon, Mercedes A-Class, Opel Astra, Skoda Scala and Kia XCeed.
