A Land Rover driver detained in Sochi smashed his head into a wall to discredit the police. In this respect reported On the Telegram channel of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Krasnodar Territory.

“In the Lazarevsky district of Sochi, traffic police inspectors stopped a Land Rover in which the passenger was a 41-year-old local resident. The Sochi resident got out of the vehicle and started fighting with the police. The publication states that law enforcement officers took the citizen to the police station.

It was recorded that the driver continued to argue with the employees when he arrived at the department and then hit his head against the wall in an attempt to blame them. However, the incident was captured on video: The footage shows a handcuffed man suddenly throwing himself against the wall, then being pulled and placed on a chair. As a result, the driver refused medical assistance.

An administrative case was filed against him under Part 1 of Art. 19.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation “Disobedience to legal requirements and orders of state authorities.” He faces a fine of up to four thousand rubles, detention for up to 15 days, or 40 to 120 hours of forced labor.
