Drivers who feel tired while driving can cheer up without harming their health by drinking strong green tea or eating orange. Nutritionist and therapist Antonina Savolyuk talked about this in a conversation with the socialbites.ca correspondent.

“An effective way to cheer up, oddly enough, is to drink lots of water. While driving, the brain works actively and gets tired, resulting in decay products. The safest way to create the best conditions for its work is to dissolve the breakdown products and remove them, that is, to give the body more water. “You need to drink throughout the movement to prevent the brain from getting tired,” the doctor advised.

Savolyuk added that you can cheer up by eating grapefruit or orange. According to the nutritionist, citrus fruits contain a lot of vitamin C, which the brain consumes, as well as other useful biologically active substances.

“Strong green tea will also help cheer you up. It contains caffeine, like coffee, but in this case the substance is released more slowly, acts longer and is softer. So a sharp rise in energy and a subsequent decline will have no effect,” explained the expert.

Savolyuk also reminded that all these are temporary measures, and it is best for the driver who feels tired to rest. He reminded that it is better not to resort to energy drinks and other stimulant products, except in extreme cases and lack of alternatives.
