The minibus driver who beat a 17-year-old passenger in Novorossiysk will appear in court. In this respect reports Press service of the regional administration of the Investigative Committee.

“According to investigators, on the evening of December 14, 2023, a verbal argument broke out between the 60-year-old minibus driver and the 17-year-old youth due to non-payment of wages. <…> While there were many people at the public transport stop on Suvorov Street in Raevskaya village, the man continued to argue with the young man. During the argument, the suspect hit him in the face once, causing damage in the form of a scratch. “The defendant then attacked the girl and threatened her with violence,” he said.

At the same time, the claim that the driver dragged the couple out of the bus and beat them appeared on the internet. It was stated that the man kicked the girl in the stomach several times.

As a result, a criminal case was opened against the driver: the man was accused of violent hooliganism towards minors (Part 2 of Article 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). The police sent the file to the court.

Before that, a visiting man was driving in Ryazan was attacked on pedestrians. As a result of the conflict, the woman’s nose was broken and her husband’s jaw was broken and he suffered a concussion.
