The Leapmotor range includes four vehicles with electric powertrains to date. The Leapmotor T03 hatchback is considered the most affordable and compact of them all. Since the length of the vehicle is only 3.6 m, its dimensions are comparable to the Russian Oka (3.2 m). The new product is expected to compete with Smart, Ora R1 and EQ1 in the domestic market.
Leapmotor T03 is equipped with a 75 hp electric motor on the front axle. or 109 hp depending on the version. The top model can reach speeds of up to 130 km/h. The main feature of the hatchback is considered a second level autopilot, which includes cameras, radar, ultrasonic sensors, cruise control and lane keeping system.
Prices for the Leapmotor T03 in China start at around ¥68k (RUB870k at the time of publication). It is expected that the model will reach the Russian Federation in very limited quantities and its cost will be much higher than in the Middle Kingdom.
