“We are starting to build a pilot group that will total around 80 cars by May. “Full-cycle production technologies will be tested on them, personnel will be trained and equipment parameters and settings will be verified,” said AvtoVAZ President Maxim Sokolov.
In mid-August 2023, AvtoVAZ announced the end of production of Lada Largus in Tolyatti. In the autumn, the transfer of equipment to the plant in Izhevsk began, where Largus plans to put the model into production in 2024. The transfer of production is connected with plans to increase the production of Vesta cars at the main plant in Tolyatti.
