An anonymous man called a woman who worked as a nurse and told her that the attackers were allegedly trying to access her bank account and apply for a loan in her name.

“On the same day, on the instructions of the stranger, the woman took out a bank loan of 1.2 million rubles in her name to buy a car. Immediately after this, he transferred the money he received according to the information provided by the stranger,” the police report states.

After following the instructions, the 51-year-old victim realized he did not know anything about where he had sent the money and gave a statement to the police. Criminal cases were opened for theft and fraud.
