The new Sultan of Malaysia, Ibrahim Ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar, wants to buy the Aurus, a top-of-the-range Russian car. In this respect reports RIA Novosti, citing Kuala Lumpur Ambassador Nail Latypov.
“During our conversation, Sultan showed interest in Aurus. Due to the intensity of the accession process, this issue remained in the background. But we want to remind you that we may have the opportunity to put the Aurus here, in Her Majesty’s garage,” the diplomat said.
According to Latypov, the Sultan prefers to drive himself. He has many cars in his collection.
It happened before that knownAfter the United Arab Emirates (UAE) started the assembly of Aurus cars, the cars started to be produced in the production facility in Abu Dhabi. The first model to be assembled in the UAE was the Aurus Senat sedan. In the future, it is planned to start production of Komendant crossovers and open a salon for the sale and customization of Aurus cars for local buyers. The presence of the Aurus brand in the Middle East will gradually expand.
