Sinomach Automobile decided to name the Oting Paladin car for the Russian market in Russian. The company’s press service reports this.
The Oting Paladin SUV, the redesigned version of the Nissan Terra, will be offered in four trim levels. The basic version will feature LED optics, a 12-inch multimedia display and six speakers, wireless charging for a smartphone, an electric sunroof, parking sensors, an all-round display system that shows the situation under the car and more.
The length of the Oting Paladin SUV is 4882 mm. The car is equipped with a two-liter Mitsubishi 4K31 turbo engine producing 228 hp. (360 Nm) and an eight-speed ZF automatic transmission as well as an all-wheel drive system. In the basic version, the vehicle is single-wheel drive.
Before that, Minister of Industry and Trade and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the company Denis Manturov offered AvtoVAZ should consider switching to Cyrillic alphabet in car names. According to the minister, Latin names can be used for exported cars. But Lada cars have not been renamed yet.
