In 2024, the flagship crossover Chery Tiggo 9 will appear on the Russian market. report Izvestia refers to the press service of the Chinese brand.
Chery said the new product will “meet global user requirements in terms of technical specifications”, have a set of modern technological equipment and “meet global five-star safety standards”.
The Tiggo 9 crossover is the largest model from Chery: its length is 4820 mm. Its competitors in the market could be Kia Sorento and Hyundai Santa Fe.
The interior of the crossover is designed in a minimalist style with a small number of buttons: even touch buttons are used on the steering wheel. Dual-zone climate control is integrated into the media system menu. The front passenger seat has a retractable footrest. Tiggo 9 has a 14-speaker Sony audio system.
In China, the crossover is offered with a 2.0-liter gasoline turbo engine (261 hp). The front-wheel drive version is equipped with a seven-speed robotic transmission, and the all-wheel drive version is equipped with an eight-speed automatic transmission. It is unknown with which engine the model will appear in the Russian market.
