The Chinese company that owns Sinomach may open car services under its own brand in Russia. In this respect reports auto.mail.ru, citing Zhang Xiao, representative of the company’s Russian office.
“In China, our company Sinomach does not just sell cars; Many additional services are also available, such as car services and car insurance. “If we are successful in our first activity (car distribution) in Russia, then we will organize car services and car insurance,” Mr. Xiao explained.
Sinomach has been selling cars under the Oting brand in Russia since 2023. The first model in our market was the Paladin SUV. The length is 4882 mm and the wheelbase is 2850 mm. The car is equipped with a two-liter Mitsubishi 4K31 turbo engine producing 228 hp. (360 Nm) and an eight-speed ZF automatic transmission, as well as an all-wheel drive system with three differential locking modes. The front suspension is independent with double wishbones, while the rear suspension is multi-link. In the basic version, the Paladin is single-wheel drive.
The company plans to sell 10 thousand cars a year in the next three years.
