In the near future, 14 upgraded electric buses will be delivered to Mosgortrans, with eight more by the end of June. Reportedly, the range on a single charge is now over 80km (previously around 60km), and the heating is all-electric, eliminating emissions into the atmosphere. In addition, the driver could regulate the temperature in the cabin separately from the passenger compartment.
The electric bus is equipped with adaptive light – it changes from cold to warm depending on the time of day. A fourth fare validator has appeared on the passenger compartment storage area, the buttons in the passenger compartment work faster, a more durable carpet has been used, the front route indicator has become larger and brighter.

The renewed electric KAMAZ buses will carry passengers in June. Now there are 1,000 electric buses on Moscow lines, 750 of which are assembled by KAMAZ. Note that the KAMAZ-6282 model is assembled in two plants – at NEFAZ and at SVARZ. Specifically, the place of installation of new electric buses is not mentioned, but it is indicated that the modernized vehicles will be accepted at SVARZ.
- In the fall of 2021, in just a month, three KAMAZ-6282 electric buses burned down in Moscow for various reasons (at least one was assembled at NEFAZ) and another in January 2021.
