The message states that the relevant threshold values can be verified by taking into account the provisions of the automotive industry development strategy, the industry development concept and manufacturers’ obligations under existing private investment agreements.
In November 2023, Russian automaker AvtoVAZ submitted a proposal to tighten localization requirements for the acceptance of electric vehicles for state support. The company described this situation as a factor in the successful implementation of the Lada Largus electric car project. Production of this model is expected to start in May 2024.
