The official stores of the Lada dealer network received information on the recommended retail prices (RRP) for Lada Granta cars in the “anti-crisis” Classic’22 configuration. Russian Automobile has published a document sent to dealers showing the equipment of the car with the specified configuration in the sedan body. The factory valued such machines at the cost of 675,900 rubles. Recall that previously there was unofficial information that the “Classic” costs 640,000 rubles.
As you know, “anti-crisis” configurations produced according to the new technical regulations may not contain many electronic systems and comfort functions, and also have a lower ecoclass engine. The document clearly shows that Classic’22 does not have ABS+BAS and ESC systems, airbags, ERA-GLONASS unit, security system and immobilizer, seat belt pretensioners. There is no air conditioning, which is especially important in summer.
Engine – VAZ-11182, 90 hp This is a recently upgraded VAZ eight valve. In the initial configuration, the environmental class is Euro-5. According to preliminary data, ‘anti-crisis’ exchanges will be in Euro-2 class. But we note that the engine power indicated in the document remained at the same level.
Contrary to previous assumptions, the Classic’22 package was not entirely bad: there is electric power steering, electric windows for the front doors, heated windshield and side mirrors, central locking, audio preparation for 4 speakers, an external antenna. The whole question now is how much dealers will add to the above suggested retail price, eagerly awaiting shipments of cars from the factory after a long hiatus.
- According to unofficial information, AVTOVAZ started accepting orders from dealers for an anti-crisis subsidy as early as June 9, the day after production started.
- “Driving” can now be viewed on RuTube.
