And he started looking for where the antenna is. She was in the outer left mirror, at the top of the mountain.

To get to the antenna module, I had to disassemble the entire transom. After carefully examining the assembly, I noticed cracks in the amplifier housing. And I understood the reason for the poor signal reception – water penetrated and some elements oxidized.

The module is not subject to repair – only replacement. A new node will cost from 6000 rubles. Expensive for a nine year old “heel”!

That is why I look for a used module when disassembling. Or think about where to mount an alternative antenna!
