Company “Avtodor-Toll Roads” warned Drivers on the Central Ring Road (TsKAD) in the Moscow Region about the increasing cases of toll fraud.

According to him, scammers create phishing sites on the Internet that resemble the official website of a toll road operator and send SMS messages to citizens claiming that they owe them for highway tolls. At the same time, in reality, the driver may not have any debts. The attackers emphasize that there is no need to pay fines after payment on their mailing list.

“The design of the fake SMS text and the appearance of the phishing site are almost identical to the official ones, including the form of payment for travel on the Central Ring Road. For this reason, it is essential to check whether there is a debt before making a payment,” they emphasize at Avtodor.

The availability of debits and the correctness of the site address indicated in the mailing list, the toll road operator recommends checking official sources.
