The company Ikon Tires has started mass production of summer tires under a new brand at the former Nokian Tires factory in the Leningrad region. In this respect reports TASS with reference to the press service of the company.
“The summer tires, which will go on sale in spring 2024, will be the first tires to carry the Ikon Tires brand, consisting of premium Ikon Autograph tires and mid-priced Ikon Nordman tires. “From now on, all tires in the premium and medium price segments produced at the company’s factory in Vsevolozhsk (Leningrad Region) will be produced under the Ikon Tires brand, both summer and winter,” he said.
March 30, Finnish tire manufacturer Nokian Tires announced Complete cessation of commercial activities in Russia. This happened after the completion of a deal to sell the Russian part of its business to oil company Tatneft.

The first tire under the new Ikon Tires brand will be launched in June 2023. The Russian tire factory Nokian Tires operated for 18 years before being renamed.
