Second-hand passenger car sales in Russia exceeded 6.1 million units by the end of 11 months of 2023, increasing by 24% compared to the same period last year. In this respect reports “Autostat Information”.
In November, the number of re-registered cars in the second-hand car market increased by 6.5% compared to 2022, rising from 517 thousand cars in the same month of the previous year to 550.7 thousand cars.
In the January-November period, second-hand car sales of foreign brands reached 4.46 million units, an increase of 27% compared to 3.52 units in the previous year. Domestic second-hand passenger car sales increased by 17% to 1.67 million units in the same period.
According to the 11-month results of 2023, domestic Lada is the leader among the brands in the second-hand car market, followed by Toyota, Kia, Nissan, Hyundai and Volkswagen.
